Welcome
Hello and welcome to the first edition of For the Brave, where we talk about nutrition, wellness, anxiety and panic attacks
For the Brave is the name of my best selling book. I wrote this book for my daughter, as a resource I wish I had, not only for myself but also as I tried to support my daughter, who in her late teens also began struggling with anxiety and panic attacks. My goal was to find and share ideas and strategies to manage anxiety that anyone could try, offering choices and flexibility, so each person could find what worked best for them.
Why is the book called For the Brave?
As anyone who has struggled with mental health knows, some days just getting out of bed require extraordinary courage. I wanted to honour this quiet heroism - the profound bravery it sometimes takes just to face those ordinary moments that can seem so overwhelming.
